[custom_html] After time the belt on a vacuum can become worn out, and if not properly installed, belts will wear out faster.
To properly install the belt for BG100, BG101, BG102, and BG107 series vacuum cleaners follow these simple steps:
Unplug Vacuum
Take off base plate on the bottom of the vacuum
If still on, remove belt from the motor drive
Remove Brush roll from vacuum base
Place new belt on the center groove of brush roll
Put belt on motor drive before reinstalling brush roll (VERY IMPORTANT: make sure the top part of the belt goes around the right side of the brush drive when you are facing the front of the vacuum)
Reinstall the brush roller ensuring it is securely in place
Put the base plate back on the vacuum and secure the latches
